I own a home recording studio and it has been there for quite some time now. Since I had ambitions of becoming a major recording star, I started to record myself in my home studio.

The Blue Yeti microphone is a USB microphone that has an adapter that allows you to record audio, whether it's vocals, instrumentals, or both, right onto your computer. Easier editing, burning disks and other tasks is made possible. While it's cool to use and easy to record with, I personally think the best thing about it is the high-quality sound. There is a multi-patterned system that comprises three capsules and a four-patterned setting. With all these features rolled into one microphone, it's one of the best in its class.
Most of my friends and clients will use this mic when they record in my studio. They have high hopes of getting noticed by a recording label, and they love that I can give them a high-quality, recording studio experience without a high price tag. The microphone works out fine with both instruments and vocals. Since more and more people are into podcasting, my business grew on to develop a new dimension and clients have used it as such. So this microphone has been a real blessing for me because it handles pure vocals - without instrumentals at all - in a beautifully clear and crisp way.
The only thing that I really don't care for about this microphone is its size. It is quite big and is probably best kept on your desk permanently rather than being carried around. Despite its size and weight, it has just worked fine for the purpose that it serves because normally, there is no need for moving around a lot when inside a small studio.
